Student Ministry Pastor Position
The Student Ministry Pastor will oversee High School and College Ministry, working under the supervision of the Lead Pastor, and be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of High School and College-age students.

Responsibilities: 
  • General Character
    • A born-again, growing disciple of Jesus, not a new believer
    • Faithful pursuit of Biblical qualifications of church leaders as described in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
    • Strongly called to full-time ministry and evangelism targeting local High School and College students.
    • Dedicated to building God’s kingdom and not a personal one
  • Qualifications, Strengths, and Abilities
    • Able to formulate and articulate a strong direction for the ministry and execute its accompanying plans and programs effectively
    • Prior ministry experience of at least 3 years full-time
    • Demonstrated track record of being able to grow a ministry
    • Strong Biblical knowledge and able to teach/explain higher-level theology to growing students / young adults
    • Able to foster partnership and credibility with parents
    • Heart for reaching the unchurched or distant students. 
    • Able to recruit, develop, and oversee volunteer teams (adults and students)
    • Able to align the youth ministry vision with the overall vision of the church
  • Duties
    • Develop and lead dynamic, engaging weekly gatherings that inspire faith and community.
    • Build meaningful relationships with students through intentional discipleship and connection.
    • Plan and execute impactful events such as retreats, camps, mission trips, and seasonal outreach nights.
    • Plan, organize, and participate in youth shepherding needs mid-week
    • Develop relationships and have a presence on local school campuses 
    • Work with the Jr. High Ministry team to create smooth transitions into High School Ministry
    • Attend regular staff meetings and leader meetings
    • Serve on the leadership team
    • Attend church services and events
  • Compensation
    • Salary is negotiable depending on experience
